Mr. David Gibson
Mr.
David Gibson was selected as the winner. Mr. Gibson is engaged in Ph.D.
studies, specializing in Geographical Information Systems and
establishing metrics for data use within GIS. He is a faculty member on
leave from the University of Florida to pursue his Ph.D. He is an
acknowledged expert in surveying, GPS and GIS. As a graduate research
assistant, he is assisting Dr. Andrew Graettinger (UA) and Dr. Michael
Anderson (UAH) on a project to improve traffic accident location data
through implementation of GIS techniques.
